Firoz has sighned Vinay Shukla as the director for his film and has approached Akshay Kumar and Deepika Padukone to play the main leads in his film.

Deepika Padukone is all set to play the role of Rani Laxmibai and Akshay will portray the role of Tatya Tope.

Tatya Tope, Nansahed Peshwa, events that happened during Rani Laxmibai’s time and their contributions makes the story of the movie.

Akshay Kumar is yet to confirm his presence and Deepika has already given the green signal to the movie.

Apparently Deepika doesn’t like Ranbir to stay in touch with his ex-beautiful friend. Although Sonam tried to maintain the friendship by trying to be in touch with him, the handsome hunk on the orders of his girlfriend did not even reply back to Sonam’s calls or messages.

Well it is a bad news to the fans of Deepika Padukone. The sexy lady who got her break with Om Shanti Om has refused to go semi nude for a film with Anurag Basu.

According to Anurag, the film needed the female lead to expose liberally and also required to do a Topless (semi nude) scene. But when this was reported to Deepika, she refused to do so and also opt out of the film. This film had Hrithik as a male lead in itIt is said that Deepika has some principles and will never shed her clothes, nomatter if she is heavily paid to do so.

But very recently the lady ahs shot for a cover page of a reputed magazine of London, and in that she has worn less clothes only to cover her assets which are up and down and very little is left for imagination.

And now the actor Akshay Kumar refused choreographer turned director Ganesh Acharya, when he approached him for an item number in his film –“Money hain Tho Honey hain”. While Akshay was busy finishing the shooting schedule of his film Singh is Kinng , Ganesh Acharya visited the sets and asked him to do an item number in Money Hain Tho Honey Hain”

Akshay the money maker who wanted his price, asked the director to fix a meeting with the producer Kumar Mangat if they wanted him to do a item number. Actor is said to have quoted 1.5 crore for this number.

Akshay, whose 3 films earned around 730 crores for the bollywood industry in 2007,is said to be in peak of his career and is demanding a whooping 20 crore fo each film . And for just an item number his quote of 1.5 crore seems to be worthy…

Shahrukh-Deepika-Arjun-Om-Shanti-Om

Bollywood stunner Deepika Padukone has made a frank confession about her Om Shanti Om co-star Shah Rukh Khan .

In an interview with BBC, Deepika spoke about her experience of working with Shah Rukh and Arjun Rampal in the Farah Khan directed blockbuster.

"While I wasn’t part of the ’Dard-e-Disco’ song, we all knew that Shah Rukh was working hard on his body. I was there for the filming as I wanted to be the first to see his body, to feel it and make sure that it’s for real," Deepika said in the interview.

Though she is impressed with 42-year-old Khan’s body, Rampal is what makes her go weak who she says was her first crush.

"I think he looks very handsome. He is tall and chocolaty. I would be very happy if I get a chance to work with him. Arjun too was a model before he entered films and I got to learn a lot from him," she said.

Padukone termed as rumours the reported ’deep friendship’ between her and cricketer Yuvraj Singh, saying she appreciates only cricket.

"People will keep spreading rumours and the media will keep writing about it, but my family and my friends know everything. I don’t applaud any single player (at cricket matches), I clap for the whole team. The cricket team is playing well and is bringing glory to the country," she said.

Deepika is presently busy with Yashraj’s next project in which she is paired with Ranbir Kapoor .

Remember About the Previous Post: Aishwarya or Deepika for the Shankar’s much hyped project ROBOT..

So the final winner is one and only one Aishwarya Rai, read this –>

Aishwarya Rai has reportedly signed the prestigious Shankar film with Rajinikanth, tentatively called Robot.

Our sources insist, the deal was officially signed yesterday afternoon, around 3.30 pm. “The contract was sent to Janak (the Bachchan bungalow in suburban Mumbai) for the Bachchans’ approval, and it was duly signed,” says our source. But that’s not all. Aishwarya Rai is allegedly charging a whopping
Rs 1.5 cr for the film, which was initially meant to be a SRK and Deepika Padukone starrer. The amount, needless to say, will be some sort of a landmark, considering no Rajini heroine has ever commanded such an astronomical fee so far. Shriya Saran was allegedly paid Rs 30 lakh for Sivaji.

Meanwhile, there seems to be some controversy around the title of this film.

Well, we all know the deal with tax exemption on movies with Tamil titles. So if you were wondering if Shankar was going to stick with Robot and incur the extra expense, you were wrong. The director has announced that Robot will soon be given a different name – a Tamil name at that. Since the movie is budgeted at Rs 120 crores, it makes absolute sense to cut these extra costs.

Shankar has also mentioned that this movie of his, being a sci-fi adventure, will depend largely on the visual effects, which may require a lot of time. But for Rajini fans, time won’t be an issue because Kuselan will be out later this year to keep them well entertained.

Shooting for Kuselan will start in February and the movie will hit screens post-June. Shooting for Robot will commence in July and the movie will hit the theatres, Well, let’s wait and watch.

Akshay-Kumar-Blue

Bollywood hunks Akshay Kumar and Sanjay Dutt will be seen together for the first time on-screen in a film titled "Blue".

The film will also star newcomer Deepika Padukone opposite Akshay Kumar. The film will be produced under the Ashtavinayak banner and they are currently looking out for another hero and heroine for the film.

It will definitely be a treat to see two bollywood hunks Akshay and Sanjay together for the first time in a film. The film has a unique English title, Blue and the production house is currently looking for another high profile actor and actress to star in the film. Deepika Padukone who has made her debut in Om Shanti Om opposite Shahrukh, will also star in Blue and she has been paired opposite Akki in this film. Akshay has also undergone special training for deep-sea diving in Thailand as he does not want to use a body double for his stunts in the film. Blue will have plenty of action with two bollywood action heroes Sanju and Akki performing some cool stunts.

This is the first time that Akshay and Sanjay Dutt will be paired together on-screen and the film will be directed by newcomer Tony. This one will definitely be a multi-starrer to watch out for. Akshay has given four super hit comedy films like Namastey London, Heyy Babyy, Bhool Bhulaiyaa and Welcome this year and he is definitely regarded as a rising super star. Sanjay Dutt too, despite all his personal problems seems to be on a high professionally after his Munnabhai films doing well. Deepika has already made a mark in her debut film and she too is being wooed by big banners. This will be Deepika’s second film to come opposite Akshay Kumar. With so many stars and more to come, there is definitely anticipation for the film Blue.
