Nagesh Kuknoor

Though much is being talked about Nagesh Kukunoor’s EIGHT BY TEN (earlier titled TASVEER) due to Akshay Kumar factor, not many are aware that the film maker has also wrapped up a film starring John Abraham in the lead. Titled AASHAYEIN, the film is a Percept Picture Company film and also stars Shreyas Talpade, a regular with Kukunoor, in a special appearance.

AASHAYEIN is the story of a compulsive gambler (played by John Abraham) who discovers new meanings of fortune and life through some dramatic turn of events. The film is aiming for a release this summer. This would also be John’s next release after his moderately successful DHAN DHANA DHAN GOAL which came towards the fag end of last year.

Meanwhile John would soon be starting to shoot for Sriram Raghavan’s next film which stars Aishwarya Rai as the female lead.

While Akshay was busy finishing the shooting schedule of his film Singh is Kinng , Ganesh Acharya visited the sets and asked him to do an item number in Money Hain Tho Honey Hain”

Akshay the money maker who wanted his price, asked the director to fix a meeting with the producer Kumar Mangat if they wanted him to do a item number. Actor is said to have quoted 1.5 crore for this number.

Akshay, whose 3 films earned around 730 crores for the bollywood industry in 2007,is said to be in peak of his career and is demanding a whooping 20 crore fo each film . And for just an item number his quote of 1.5 crore seems to be worthy…

Bollywood hunks Akshay Kumar and Sanjay Dutt will be seen together for the first time on-screen in a film titled "Blue".

The film will also star newcomer Deepika Padukone opposite Akshay Kumar. The film will be produced under the Ashtavinayak banner and they are currently looking out for another hero and heroine for the film.

It will definitely be a treat to see two bollywood hunks Akshay and Sanjay together for the first time in a film. The film has a unique English title, Blue and the production house is currently looking for another high profile actor and actress to star in the film. Deepika Padukone who has made her debut in Om Shanti Om opposite Shahrukh, will also star in Blue and she has been paired opposite Akki in this film. Akshay has also undergone special training for deep-sea diving in Thailand as he does not want to use a body double for his stunts in the film. Blue will have plenty of action with two bollywood action heroes Sanju and Akki performing some cool stunts.

This is the first time that Akshay and Sanjay Dutt will be paired together on-screen and the film will be directed by newcomer Tony. This one will definitely be a multi-starrer to watch out for. The actor who was out of practice for more than 7 years ,trained in a form of Martial arts known as Wushu for film. the movie will cost Rs.100 crore and that makes it one of the costliest Hindi films so far.
